Greetings from the Studio by the Lake.

Summer is officially here.  Has anyone told Mother Nature?  Hopefully, by the time you are reading this newsletter, she will have gotten the good weather message.

Summer workshops begin in July with lots of colored pencil, watercolor and acrylic projects to choose from.  We will follow our summer schedule with classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Many of the projects are offered both in the morning and evening to best suit your needs.

The Lexington Arts & Crafts Society is sponsoring an Artisans Market Place to be held on July 18^th through August 15^th, 2009. 

On Saturday there will be a gallery and tent sale.  From Monday July 20^th to August 15^th there will be a continuous sale of hand made items by all the artisans who are members of the many guilds of the society.

Books

My newest book, Finishing Touches 5, has just been released.

This is the fifth in a series of projects for home decor. The projects are painted with Jo Sonja acrylics, with a conversion chart back to DecoArt. You can enjoy painting the projects using either brand of paint.

My last book, Finishing Touches 4, is still selling well.
