The studio by the Lake has been a hub of activity, getting ready for summer classes, workshops and seminars.

Since the last update, I’ve been to MAD painting in Pennsylvania to teach and host a booth, to SDP in Tampa to introduce my new book, and to chapter meetings in Rhode Island, Western Massachusetts and Delaware to teach classes (the chapter meetings are always great fun - it’s a chance for me to meet new people and to catch up with old friends.)

And the first annual Cape Art Escape was held at Hattie D’s on Cape Cod, where Mary Svenson and I each taught a day long class.  It was a wonderful experience for us and for each of the students.  Spring time out on the Cape is fabulous - warmer weather, wonderful seascapes and no traffic.  We will do it again, same time next year.

All the travel hasn’t changed my teaching schedule at the studio.  We have held regular classes and some Saturday workshops, and will continue with our full summer program.  We have a new schedule for summer workshops and our regular “Do Your Own Thing” open classes.  It’s an exciting year.  Click on workshop for a description of what’s planned.

One day workshop - Draw a basket of apples and Daisies, 8” X 10” design on a creamy paper.
