painting, faux finishing, and stenciling. For workshops you will need brushes and general
painting supplies - specific supply lists are given at time of registration.

Color and Design Workshop - Friday, May 31st, from
7:00pm to 10:00pm |
Working with Anne Sloan's workbook (supplied), I will take
you to an understanding of colors and how they work. By creating your own
color wheel, you will learn the art of complimentary colors - cool vs warm,
making greys, using whites (and which whites to use), mixing colors,
matching color tones, etc.
We will explore using different colors to create different
styles such as Rococo, Neo-classical, Rustic, Modern and more.
From this workshop we are hoping to form a monthly "Color
Club" where we will continue working in our workbooks together.

In our 8 week
class you will learn the basics of painting with acrylics; from
backgrounds,
simple composition, and how to paint shadows and highlights to get that
3D look.
Learn how acrylic paints and mediums work together and the basic
elements for painting great landscapes and still life designs.
Discover how easy it is to paint in your own personal style.

Mixed
Media Workshop - Saturday July 13th,
12:30 to 4:30
Join me for a social art experience. Create one of a kind art work with
multiple techniques and supplies. In this case you will experiment with
paint, texture, decoupage and gel mediums. Some stamping and collage
work. Add you choice of ncharms and accessories that reflect your own
personal style.

Arty ART Party.
|
Recreate a master piece in one night.
I
will walk you step by step through creating a famous (or soon to be
famous) painting! One 16x20 canvas and all the paint and brushes you
will need are included. Just come ready to have fun, make some new
friends and leave with a new work of art for your wall!

Pet Portrait Workshop
- May 4th and 11th from 10am to 2pm. $95 (all supplies
included). Bring snacks or a lunch and be prepared to have fun painting
your very favorite pet. Email us with the portraits you would like to do
and we will help you choose one that you can be successful with in this
two week class. We will walk you through, step by step, in creating your
pet portrait in acrylic paint. No experience is necessary. This will be
a fun and informative mini-class and you will walk away with a fantastic
